Community Rules

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to FreeHumans ("we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users ("you", "your") on our community platform ("Community Platform") By accessing, browsing, or using the Community Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by our Terms of Service, as well as any other guidelines, rules, or additional terms referenced herein.

2. User Accounts

  • 2.1 You must be at least 13 years old to create an account on our Community Platform. By registering, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old.
  • 2.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for all activities that occur under your account.
  • 2.3 You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update your information as necessary.
  • 2.4 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if any information provided during the registration process or thereafter is inaccurate, false, or misleading.

3. User Conduct

  • 3.3 You may not use the Community Platform to engage in any form of harassment, discrimination, or threatening behavior towards others.
  • 3.4 You may not impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.

4. Content

  • 4.1 You are solely responsible for the content you post, share, or otherwise make available on the Community Platform.
  • 4.2 You agree not to post, upload, or transmit any content that infringes, misappropriates, or otherwise violates any intellectual property rights or proprietary rights of any third party.
  • 4.3 We reserve the right to remove any content that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be inappropriate, offensive, or in violation of these Terms of Service, without prior notice and at our sole discretion.
  • 4.4 By posting, uploading, or otherwise sharing content on the Community Platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, and perpetual license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, and display such content in connection with the Community Platform and our business.

5. Termination

  • 5.1 We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to terminate or suspend your access to the Community Platform, without notice, for any reason or no reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms of Service.
  • 5.2 Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms of Service will immediately cease, and you must promptly discontinue all use of the Community Platform.

6. Disclaimer

THE COMMUNITY PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE COMMUNITY PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

7. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE, THE COMMUNITY PLATFORM, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless us, our officers, directors, employees, and agents, from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Community Platform or your violation of these Terms of Service.
