I am a technology systems and business operations architect with over three decades of experience producing state-of-the-art nanotechnologies, advanced photovoltaic, optoelectronic, and magnetic data storage products, and intelligent software systems for advanced computational analysis, modeling, and operations management. My experiences include designing novel devices, developing innovative manufacturing processes to build sophisticated machines, and scaling complex business operations in several clean technology ventures. My expertise in systems modeling and analytical processes is rooted in my doctoral research in experimental high energy particle physics and grew through my work developing sophisticated device tests and process characterization methods for magnetic, MEMS and optical devices. I've also led development of several mission critical information systems to optimize enterprise decision processes and align workflows between product management, global operations, and customer support organizations distributed across complex, demanding global supply chains. I earned my PhD in High Energy Physics from the University of Minnesota and Strategic Leadership certification from Harvard Business School. I'm also certified in and an accomplished practitioner of several leading technical, organizational, and entrepreneurial management methodologies.
